Clinton Keith French (born: died: 1987) was a politician from Alberta, Canada.
Clinton served as mayor of Hanna, Alberta.
Clinton was first elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the Alberta Social Credit Party in the 1959 Alberta general election for the Hand Hills electoral district.
Clinton was re-elected to the new electoral district of Hand Hills-Acadia in the 1963 Alberta general election facing stiff competition from Independent Lyal Curray, who was his only opponent.
In the 1967 Alberta general election, Clinton was again re-elected to Hand Hills-Acadia in a very tight 3 way race. He won by just 535 votes over Progressive Conservative Bill Cross.
Clinton would run in his last general election and be re-elected for his 4th term in the assembly during the 1971 Alberta general election. This election race proved to be a photo finish as he came out on top by 15 votes over future Progressive Conservative MLA Jack Butler. He retired from provincial politics in 1975.
Clinton passed away in 1987.
