Clinical Skills Assessment

The CSA or Clinical Skills Assessment Examination was used as part of the certification process for foreign medical school graduates.
The last administration of the ECFMG Clinical Skills Assessment (CSA) took place on April 16, 2004. USMLE Step 2 Clinical Skills (Step 2 CS) replaced the ECFMG CSA for purposes of ECFMG Certification, effective June 14, 2004.
Exam Pattern : Each student faces 12 simulated patients (SPs) and has 15 minutes for each patient to finish history taking and clinical examination.
