Clifton Gardens, New South Wales
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Clifton Gardens is an urban locality in the Lower North Shore of Sydney, Australia. Early settler Captain E. H. Cliffe purchased a 15 acre estate on the waters edge, he named it "Cliffeton" and it is believed that the area's name was derived from that. One of the most serene localities of the Municipality of Mosman, Clifton Gardens is a mainly affluent residential suburb and is home to several beaches and wharfs. The suburb has some of the best views in Sydney.
