Cliff Bartosh

Clifford Paul Bartosh born (September 5, 1979 in West, Texas) is a left-handed relief pitcher who currently plays for the Chicago Cubs. He previously played with the Cleveland Indians (2004).

His role in the bullpen is often to come in against a lefty, often just for one out. For the Indians in 2004 he went 1-0 in 34 appearances in relief, posting a 4.66 ERA. So far in 2005 (as of June 4) he is 0-2 with an ERA of 2.63 in 14 relief appearances. He was selected in the 29th round of the 1998 amateur entry draft by the San Diego Padres. He made his MLB debut on May 15 of 2004 and was with the Indians in four different stints over the year. He improved as the year went on, posting an ERA of 2.70 in his last 30 appearances.

During spring training of 2005 he was traded to the Cubs for pitcher Ronald Bay. His wife's name is Michelle and he currently resides in Duncanville, TX. His current salary is $318,600.
