Cleverpath AION Business Rules Expert (former Platinum AIONDS or Trinsic AIONDS) is an implementation of an expert system. By supplying rules into the system, the system can make reasons and therefore make decisions. To draw conclusions expert systems use inference.

AIONDS implements the 2 major methods of reasoning, forward- and backward chaining. The software is nowadays a product of Computer Associates.
