Clenze

Clenze is a village and a municipality in the district Lüchow-Dannenberg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approx. 20 km northwest of Salzwedel, and 25 km east of Uelzen.

Up until November 1, 2006 Clenze was also the seat of the Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") Clenze, which consisted of the following municipalities:

  • Bergen an der Dumme
  • Clenze
  • Luckau (Wendland)
  • Schnega
  • Waddeweitz
