Clearwater Features was a company that made the first two seasons of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. It is also known for creating Tugs, the company's hit show. Clearwater was founded by Robert D. Cardona and David Mitton who did most of the work on Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. The Company produced many commercials but it closed down in 1990. It was also sold to ABC Television in 1995.
