Claxton High School

Claxton High School is a high school (grades 9-12) in the small town of Claxton, Evans County, Georgia, USA, and part of the Evans County School District.
In 2005 it had 517 students, and 30 teachers with a ration of 1:17 while the State ratio was 1:16. The students were 53% white, 44% African-American, and 3% Hispanic. 50% of students were eligible for free lunch, over the State average of 43%; 13% of students were eligible for reduced lunch, over the State average of 9%; and 3% of students were migrants, compared to a State average of 1%.
