Claxton, Anderson County, Tennessee

Claxton, Anderson County, Tennessee (formerly known as Wilson, Tennessee) is a village in Anderson County in the U.S. state of Tennessee. According to the United States Geological Survey, the name was changed in 1969 from Wilson to Claxton.

Claxton is located at 36°02′30″N, 84°06′36″W at the intersection of State Route 9 (Clinton Highway) and State Route 170 (Edgemoor Road and Raccoon Valley Road).
