[edit] Plot

The series focused on 7 students at Havenhurst College in New England (the show was actually filmed at the University of Toronto). Although coming from different backgrounds, circumstance forces the seven to become friends. Had it not been cancelled, the series would have followed the friends through their four years at college.

The series dealt with the differences - both in personality and social status - of the group of friends, the challenges they faced in their first year of college, and social issues such as racism and sexism.

The pilot episode aired on January 19, 1993. Critical reaction was never strong, and ratings fell steadily after the premiere. The series was cancelled and finished airing its 17 episode order on May 25. The series finale, ironically, was titled "See You in September".

The series was created and written by John Romano, and directed by Peter Horton.
