[edit] 2006-07 Administration
Chris Vaughn has been at the school since 2003. He has served as Football Coach, History Teacher, Assistant Principal and serves as Principal. Tonya Nelson is new to the district and serves as both Assistant Principal and Counselor. James Barham is Discipline Coordinator.
[edit] Accountability Rating
Over the years, the campus has fallen victim to poor test scores on the state-mandated TAKS Test. Despite great efforts that have been and are currently being made to improve district-wide TAKS scores, the Clarksville High School campus rating dropped to Academically Unacceptable, the state's lowest possible rating, in the summer of 2006.
[edit] School Song
All hail Alma Mater
Thy queen of all the rest
In all our fond memories
Thy name we love the best
And as we walk the path of life
And sail the storm-tossed seas
Our beacon of life shall ever be
Our days at Clarksville High School
C*H*S!!!
