In the Star Trek science fiction universe, Clark Terrell ( ? - 2285) is a Starfleet captain and the commanding officer of the USS Reliant in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. He was portrayed by Paul Winfield.

Under Terrell's command, the Reliant searches for a suitable planet to serve as a test-bed for the Genesis Device. The last planet they surveyed was Ceti Alpha V, which they believed was Ceti Alpha VI. Upon arriving at Ceti Alpha V, the ship's sensors detect energy readings on the planet surface. After receiving approval from Carol Marcus, Terrell and first officer Pavel Chekov beam down to see if the source can be moved off the planet. They discover the remains of the SS Botany Bay and the followers of Khan Noonien Singh marooned there by then-Captain James T. Kirk (TOS: "Space Seed"). Khan implants Ceti eels into both Chekov's and Terrell's brains, placing both men under his control. Khan is then able to find out about Project Genesis and to hijack the Reliant for his personal war against Kirk.

Terrell and Chekov accompanied Khan aboard space station Regula 1, where Khan tortured and interrogated the Genesis scientists. Khan deliberately left Terrell and Chekov behind. Chekov tells Kirk that the two Reliant officers were able to overcome Khan's brainwashing; instead, Khan planted them to wait for an opportunity to steal the Genesis material to kill Kirk. Eventually Kirk's party, including Terrell and Chekov, make their way to the interior of Regula. Upon finding the Genesis Device, Terrell signals Khan, who steals the device. David Marcus attempts to attack Terrell, and Terrell fires a deadly phaser blast at him – Saavik pushes Marcus out of the way, and another Genesis scientist is instead vaporized. However, when ordered to kill Kirk, Terrell hesitates. As the pain caused by the Ceti eel intensifies, he instead turns the phaser on himself and commits suicide. Chekov experiences similar pain that knocks him unconscious before the eel leaves his skull.
