Clarion (journal)

Clarion is an undergraduate literary arts journal published at Boston University since 1998, unique for continuing to publish despite a policy prohibiting any "student journal of opinion" from receiving university funding.
The original issue, titled The Staff Issue of ?, was published by the group "Student for Literary Awareness" in association with Boston University's magazine Bostonia. The following issues, although produced by the same group of students, were released under the name Clarion. From issue No. 2 on, the student group was renamed as Boston University Literary Society.
