Clarence Prevost

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Clarence Prevost is the flight instructor who grew suspicious of accused 9/11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui in 2001, prior to the 9/11 attacks. According to Reuters:

"Clarence Prevost, the flight instructor assigned to teach Moussaoui at the Pan American Flight Academy in Eagan, Minnesota, in August 2001, testified in Moussaoui's sentencing trial that he was concerned about his student's inexperience in flying but his warnings were originally rejected by his boss.
"Prevost said it was unusual that Moussaoui, who had attended a different flight school but failed to get his pilot's license, would want to learn to fly a jumbo jet with only about 50 hours of training and no license.
"But he said Moussaoui had acknowledged he could not get a license to fly a jet, but only wanted to fulfill a dream of flying a Boeing 747 from London to New York in a simulator."
