ClaraNet website is a pan-European service provider. One of the largest (at time of writing) non-telco owned operators in Europe, started in 1996 and operated throughout by its CEO Charles Nasser.
ClaraNet has offices in London, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Eindhoven, Lisbon, Atlanta (US) and Barcelona. Providing a comprehensive range of Internet access, national and international connectivity solutions, hosting, e-commerce and IP security throughout the UK, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the US.

- In October 1998 ClaraNet France office was opened link
- In December 2000 ClaraNet acquired CatWorld ES and began
operating in Spain.
- In September 2002, ClaraNet acquired Netscalibur DE and began operating
in Germany. link
- In July 2003, ClaraNet acquired Netscalibur UK and grew its UK network as a result.
- In September 2004, ClaraNet acquired VIA NET.WORKS UK and further grew its UK network
as a result link
- In July 2005, ClaraNet acquired two operations:
- Amen Group (http://www.amen.fr) website, a large French managed hosting outfit.
- VIA NET.WORKS Europe, comprising operations in the Netherlands, Portugal and the US
