Clara, Missouri

Clara is a small unincorporated community in central Texas County, Missouri. It is about three miles southwest of Houston. It once had a post office, but it is now closed and mail is delivered from nearby Houston. The community was founded in 1902 and was named for Clara, the wife of postmaster Haden Lynch.
