Claire Price

Claire Price was born on 4 July 1972 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire and is an actress best known for her current portrayal as DS Siobhan Clarke in the TV drama Rebus broadcast on the ITV Network. She plays opposite Ken Stott, (DI John Rebus) in the adaptations of the Inspector Rebus novels by Scottish author Ian Rankin.
Previous television work has included one-episode roles in many other long-running crime drama series including Dalziel and Pascoe, Rosemary and Thyme, Agatha Christie's Poirot, Midsomer Murders, Murder in Mind and The Whistle-Blower.
Price played Olivia in the 2003 multi-cultural adaptation of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.
In addition to her on-screen work, Price worked as part of the film crew as Assistant to the Producer of Free Jimmy, (2006) and as Camera Production Assistant on Love, Ludlow, (2005).
In addition to Twelfth Night, on stage Price has played many other Shakespearian roles, including Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield, Miranda in The Tempest at the Old Vic. Price also starred as Queen Elizabeth in Don Carlos at the Crucible.

Price was made to pass her driving test before filming series 3 of Rebus in order to allow Siobhan Clarke to drive Rebus around.[1]
