From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The CLAAS COUGAR is a mower produced by the agricultural machinery manufacturer CLAAS, which purports the CLAAS COUGAR 1400 to be the largest mower in the world. The mower is composed of an operating cab that possesses several limbs, each of which have machines attached on their ends for cutting grass. The limbs can be maneuvered up, down, left, and right in order to help the operator avoid encountering obstacles. The Claas Cougar has peak loads of 50 acres per hour and can cut at widths up to 45 ft (14 m). It operates at speeds up to 15 miles per hour (25 km/h), or 25 miles per hour (40 km/h) while moving between fields.
