CKDJ is a Canadian radio station. It is the campus radio station of Ottawa's Algonquin College, and broadcasts at 107.9 on the FM dial.
The station launched in 1972 as a closed circuit outlet. It was licensed by the CRTC to broadcast on FM in 1994, and launched on October 3 of that year.
The station broadcast at 96.9 FM until 2003, when it moved to its current frequency.

[edit] 2006 - 2007 Programming and Management
The Playmakers - This show airs every Thursday afternoon at 12:30. It is primarily devoted to sports talk such as hockey and baseball, but puts an emphasis on local sports as well. The show is currently hosted by Pat Cashman, Dan Legroulx and Asli Hashi.
The Cinema - Airs Thursday afternoons at 12:00. This half-hour show discusses recently released movies in theatres and on DVD, and ocassionally delves into celebrity gossip. The show is hosted by Braden Adam and Kimberley Hopkins.
Beavers in Igloos - Airs Thursday mornings at 11:00. It is a showcase of Canandian bands. Other features include interviews and the "Canadian Killer Track", which is the top Canadian song on the station's Top 25 show. The show is hosted by Dan Legroulx and Stephen Gower.
The Jazz Show - This show airs Mondays and Tuesdays and 9:00 AM. It showcases jazz from around the world, specifically Canada. The show is hosted by Braden Adam and Paula Graham.
Around the World in 60 Minutes - Airs Wednesdays at 9:00 AM. The show plays different types of world music that you would not normally ever hear on other radio stations. The show is hosted by Adam Rochon and Steve Watson.
Born Under a Bad Sign - Airs every Thursday and Friday morning at 9:00 AM. Plays blues from the past and present, specifically from Canada. Susan Young and Carly D'Amico host the show.
The Top 25 - Airs Wednesday nights at 8:00 PM (the only exception was when the show was moved a day earlier so it would land on Halloween - October 31st, 2006). The show counts down the 25 most popular songs of the week as voted by the listeners on CKDJ.net. Features on the show include 'The Dirt' where they discuss celebrity gossip, the "Sureshot" - a song that music director Dan Legroulx thinks will chart well - and 'Top of the Tops' where they give lists of the best of everything. The lists are usually arbitrary, decided upon by the hosts of the show, Matt McIntyre and Shannon Smith.
The Algonquin Show Airing from Monday to Thursday every week at 3:00 PM, this is CKDJ's only current affairs program. Students of the radio broadcasting program at Algonquin college go throughout the campus and surrounding community to find stories and report on them. Features of the show include The Algonquin Report, a news report at the beginning of the show; profiles, produced reports that are three minutes long; documentaries, produced peices that span over five minutes long; reviews, critiques of recently released movies, albums, video games or books and rants, where students get a chance to vent about things they have problems with. There are no set hosts for this show; the line-up changes from day to day.
Nepean Raiders Hockey - Even though the station goes off the air every weekend, it comes back on for a short period on Sundays at 2:00 PM to do colour commentary on Nepean Raiders hockey. Pat Cashman and Mike way do the commentating.
