[edit] Human history?

Why is this article tled Civilizations in human history? What other histories are there? --Brunnock 16:06, 6 November 2005 (UTC)

Presumably because the article appears to have been split off from the civilization article, and so needed some distinct name. Maybe something like Historical civilizations would be better, as this seems to be the primary purpose of this article (ie, provide a summary of various historical (non-extant) civilizations, rather than contemporary ones).--cjllw | TALK 07:06, 16 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] POV Fork by Roylee

This article was nothing but a placeholder for the fringe theories and original research of the notorious Roylee (see User:Mark Dingemanse/Roylee for more information) and as such has been redirected to Civilization. — mark 20:28, 30 November 2005 (UTC)

a-ha, I see. Thanks mark, I've no issue with the redirect then, although maybe an article which describes historical civilizations could be useful sometime in the future. Cheers, --cjllw | TALK 22:49, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
