ESWAT: City Under Siege is a game for the Sega Genesis Video Game System released on June 1, 1990. The ESWAT: City Under Siege console game gains its main characters and some of its enemies from the ESWAT: Cyber Police (1989) arcade game but features different levels, weapons, and bonuses.
[edit] Description
The game is a sidescrolling platformer where the player controls a police officer in the future who over a series of levels turns into the cyborg ESWAT. As a member of the Cyber Police force in the city of Liberty, your job is to clear the streets of crime, terminate the most wanted criminals and put them behind bars. In the first and second levels of the game, the player can only utilize a single shot weapon. After becoming the cyborg ESWAT in the third level, the player can use Super Shot, Plasma Rifle, Rockets, and a Fire Attack. ESWAT also could use a jet pack with limited fuel that replenished over time.
