Citroën Traction Avant 22CV
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Citroen wanted to take the Traction Avant to an upper class with a higher standard, and make a luxury model of it for the growing market, similar to other upper class cars like Mercedes 500k etc. The car was supposed to have a less spartanic interior than the other Traction Avant's and it was to feature Citroen's own new V8 engine. About twenty prototypes were made, but when the project was cancelled in 1935 due to Michelin's takeover, they were all destryoed.
