[edit] Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising in articles. For more information on this, see

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! --Dylan Lake 01:50, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

This isn't about NPOV links, it's about spam. Please read the guidelines on external links --Dylan Lake 02:02, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Hello, and thanks for your contributions. Unfortunately, the link you added to Socially responsible investing seems a bit like spam, and I've removed it. Please do not add commercial links, links to your own private websites, or unnecessary links to Wikipedia. Even if your link features a product or service directly related to the topic of the article, Wikipedia is not a business directory, a vehicle for advertising, or a collection of external links. You are welcome to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia, provided it is in keeping with our guidelines. If you feel the link should be added to the article please suggest it on the article's talk page, or drop me a line and we can discuss it. See the welcome page to learn more about contributing to Wikipedia. Thanks, and happy editing! Kafziel Talk 02:42, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Refferring to and placing a link to Congressional testimony on a company cannot be considered spam. What looks like spam to you may not actually be spam. Relax.Cirm 05:16, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. Kafziel Talk 14:45, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

FYI, it's probably not in your best interest to threaten anyone on Wikipedia. This is a difference of opinion. What you think is spam is not always spam. Given your threats, I have renewed my call for a third party review.

As I told you on the Wikiquette page; these are not threats. They are standard notices. You can find the most recent one here. It's not something I made up. Kafziel Talk 14:59, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR

You have been blocked for breaking Wikipedia's three revert rule, which states that you cannot revert a page more than 3 times in 24 hours, as you did to Global Settlement. Please note that this rule is intended to prevent edit warring, and is upheld quite strongly by the community. Once your block expires, please return as a more collaborative and helpful contributor.
