[edit] Filipino Wikipedians
Hi, you were listed in the Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Philippines page as living in or being associated with Philippines. As part of the Wikipedia:User categorisation project, these lists are being replaced with user categories. If you would like to add yourself to the category that is replacing the page, please add [[Category:Filipino Wikipedians|{{subst:PAGENAME}}]] to your user page. Thanks. :) Coffee 03:29, 12 August 2005 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Philippines has been blanked to complete the transition to Category:Filipino Wikipedians (see Wikipedia:User categorisation for details). Coffee 08:58, 19 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Replacing copyvio material
Hi. You replaced copyvio material in Philippine Military Academy without following the posted procedures when it was marked as a copyvio. Please do not change the main article page, but rather place any rewrite on the temp page as described on the copyright notice. You just create more work for administrators by not following the posted instructions. Thanks. RedWolf 02:32, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
- Ok, I'd do that next time. Thanks.
-
- Thanks Circa 1900, though, for rescuing the PMA article. --Jondel 00:40, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Tambayan Philippines
This is a portal like the Village pump for Philippine related articles and for Pinoy wikipeidians.--Jondel 00:42, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
-
- I visit that everyday, however, can somebody put the Philippine portal link at the Philippines article?
[edit] Philipine Featured Articles
Please visit Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines/Featured articles and give your two centavos. Add your votes as well. Thanks =) --seav 14:04, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
José Rizal and Boracay, which you have voted for, have been selected for improvement by the Filipino Wikipedian community. Now we can start collaborating on improving these articles to Featured Article status. See Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines/Featured articles. =) --seav 22:48, 20 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Images
Hello! I'm afraid that I've had to remove the images from your User page; fair-use images can be used (within certain limits) in articles, but Wikipedia guidelines are that they should be kept off User pages (see Wikipedia:Fair use). --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 19:55, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- That's all right. Circa 1900 02:26, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] NCAA FAC
I must say, working with you on FAC has been my most positive FAC experience. Thanks for not being a troll, or argumentative, or hopelessly POV. Wikipedia needs more users like you, who understand that constructive criticism is a good thing, and not a call to arms. I hope the FAC passes, and I'll help rectify any other objections that might be raised during the nomination period. Thanks a lot. RyanGerbil10 02:23, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- I asked three experienced FA reviewers to help with the NCAA FAC, because the nomination is growing older and doesn't have many votes. I told them that you had the sourcing information, so if they ask for better sourcing, they're going to come to you, just a heads up. Thanks for your cooperation, RyanGerbil10 03:51, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
-
- Thanks for the heads up and for the reviewers. It can't be improved if no one would review it, right? Again, thanks! Circa 1900 06:41, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

- Hey dude, where are you? I'd take care of the FAC if you don't mind. --Howard the Duck | talk, 02:13, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed Georgia Move
As a past participant in the discussion on how to handle the Georgia pages, I thought you might be interested to know that there's a new attempt to reach consensus on the matter being addressed at Talk:Georgia (country)#Requested_Move_-_July_2006. Please come by and share your thoughts to help form a consensus. --Vengeful Cynic 03:38, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Blazerslogo.jpg)
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Blazerslogo.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. —Bkell (talk) 21:01, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image tagging for Image:NC81Studio23.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:NC81Studio23.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:LRTLine1.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:LRTLine1.gif. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 04:48, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
