This is not an article about circuit design at all. However, it is a great compilation of "resistor" and "capacitor"! The info seems to be the same as in the articles resistor and capacitor. I think a new article on circuit design might need to be started.--RichG 06:35, 8 November 2005 (UTC)

The content on this page should not even be here. It is a very basic overview of electronic components.

Since article seemed to be a copy-and-paste of Resistor and Capacitor I've replaced it with a basic stub and linked it to the articles it was copying. Astaroth5 11:22, 29 November 2005 (UTC)

The treatment in the main article was to provide something for others to build on. It was only done this way as the previous treatment was in the opinion of most off topic. However if it is going to be flagged as unreferenced, I see no other course than to remove all of my edits. I will not be in violation of the no original research policy.

I think you might be over-reacting a bit DV8, the unref tag was only making explicit was already obvious from the lack of quoted references, but in any case if I can find the time I'll take another shot at the article in the next few days Astaroth5 22:18, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

I have had trouble with this tag in the past, and I have taken a hard line myself on unreferenced work enough that I don't need something that I can have my nose rubbed into hanging around. The tag itself is a weasels tag; call someone out on OR or edit the article - don't just tag and run. DV8 2XL 22:34, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

Alright, so it took rather less than a few days! This rewrite gives a few citations, although still not ideal, it should be enough to justify the continued existance of most of the text. Astaroth5 00:03, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

The article needs a section on documentation. I have been out of the field for too long to know exactly what is expected these days, and while I suspect not much has changed I don't feel comfortable writing about it lest I leave out something critical. DV8 2XL 16:34, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

Im just wondering if this phrase is useful or not. What does it mean? In a random mannner? In a sequential manner. Im not sure. Is anyone else sure? --Light current 22:43, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
