The Circoviridae are a family of viruses, including the following genera:
- Genus Circovirus; type species: Porcine circovirus type 1 and 2, BFDV (Beak and Feather Disease Virus)
- Genus Gyrovirus; type species: Chicken anaemia virus
The family Circoviridae contains two genera, Circovirus and Gyrovirus. These are small, relatively poorly-studied viruses with circular, single-stranded DNA genomes of approximately one to four kilobases.
