Cinnamoroll

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cinnamoroll is one of the many characters created by the Japanese stationary corporation Sanrio. Cinnamoroll is a white puppy with long ears, blue eyes, and a plump and curly tail that resembles a cinnamon roll.

[edit] Background Story

One day, a tiny white puppy was found by the owner of Café Cinnamon, a café popular because of its cinnamon rolls. The owner named the puppy "Cinnamoroll" because of his cinnamon roll shaped tail. Cinnamoroll became friends with Chiffon, Expresso, Cappuchino, his girlfriend Mocha, and his baby brother Milk. His birthday is March 6.

[edit] Cinnamoroll's popularity

Since his introduction into the Sanrio market in the year 2002, Cinnamoroll has become one of the most popular Sanrio characters. His sales are second only to Hello Kitty. It is assumed that because of the decline of the character Pochacco, Cinnamoroll was created as the eventual replacement character. Although some mistake Cinnamoroll for a rabbit, Sanrio's website identifies Cinnamoroll as a puppy.
