The Cinema Guild Inc., was established by Philip and Mary-Ann Hobel, award-winning producers known for their work in documentaries and features, including the highly-acclaimed film Tender Mercies.

For over thirty years, The Cinema Guild has been a notable distributor of both documentary and fiction films (narrative features and shorts), offering producers full service distribution in all markets, including educational, non-theatrical, theatrical, television, cable, internet, and home video. We distribute scores of award-winning films and videos, representing the work of many of the leading filmmakers in the world, and including such prestigious organizations as The American Film Institute, The British Broadcasting Corporation, The National Film Board of Canada, and The United Nations.
