Cinecanal is a Latin American panregional cable television network launched in April 1993. It is owned by a group of Hollywood studios and Latin American cable companies. The studio owners include Paramount, 20th Century Fox and NBC Universal. MGM was also a co-owner until its takeover by Sony.
