Cynthia "Cindy" Nelson (born August 19, 1955) is an American alpine skier from Lutsen, Minnesota.

- 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria: Bronze Medal in Downhill.
- Was awarded a World Championships Silver Medal at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York in Combined (Combined was not an Olympic medal event in 1980, but the races doubled as the FIS World Championships).
- Earned a Silver Medal in Downhill at the 1982 World Championships in Schladming, Austria.
- Six (6) World Cup victories, 26 World Cup podiums in all five disciplines, and 121 World Cup top-ten finishes.
