Cindy is a 1978 television adaptation of the Cinderella story. The film starred an all-black cast.
It was directed by William A. Graham and starred Charlayne Woodard (credited as Charlaine Woodard) as Cindy, Mae Mercer as the stepmother, Clifton Davis as Captain Joe Prince, and Nell Carter (credited as Nell-Ruth Carter) as Olive, one of the stepsisters.
