The Cinder Cone National Natural Landmark is located in the Mojave National Preserve in southeastern California in the United States. The landmark is located mostly south of Interstate 15 and the small community of Halloran Springs. The cinder cones were formed when lava erupted. Most of the cinder cones and Lava flows lie between Kelbaker Road on the west and Cima Road to the east.
