Ciechocinek

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ciechocinek is a spa town in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland. It is located at around 52°52′0″N, 18°48′0″E. The Wisła River flows through the town.

During World War II the town functioned as one big military hospital and also as a health resort for German citizens (known to Germans as Hermannsbad). German experts considered the local saline springs to be of extreme value. They named thermal spring no. 14 "a wonder of nature".

Ciechocinek is known for its unique 'saline graduation towers' [1]
