In my opinion, the Child's Play entry was for the first movie. This "Charles Lee Ray" topic explains much of Chucky's history. So, I'd vote to keep this page the way it is.

[edit] Brad Dourif

Did Brad Dourif act as Charles Lee Ray before he was switched to the doll? Scorpionman 00:22, 8 October 2005 (UTC)

Yes he did. --64.231.81.105 08:05, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

Hi I am back...been to a Tampa Bay Buc football game, up to Minnesota on SunCountry Airlines...been fishing in the Keys and just hanging out...pic are available!

[edit] Physical description, please?

Can someone please edit the introduction to add a physical description of Chucky? For example, how big is he? (I can't tell from the picture.) Does the doll always have the scars? etc.

(Remember also that visually impaired readers may want to know what he looks like too. This topic is too important to deny access to the blind!)

[edit] Chucky's birthday

I don't think Chucky was born in 1950 if it was he would have been 48 when Glen was born. -- Metal 17:46, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Can someone please answer it has been almost two months -- Metal 15:52, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Where are the sources saying that he was born on January 24, 1950. -- Metal 14:45, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

That date of birth is for Charles Lee Ray. Notice that it also says he "died" in 1988, on the exact date Child's Play hit theatres. The article is suggesting that Charles Lee Ray and "Chucky" should be considered seperate entities, which makes sense as Chucky is fundamentally immortal, Charles' isn't. [edit] Tiffany

I think Tiffany should be a seperate article. -- Metal 18:01, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Again can someone please answer it's been almost two months. -- Metal 15:54, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Please feel free to start a new wikipedia entry on the above-mentioned subject using a wiki user account. Sasha 04:06, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Charles Lee Ray's Death

In the article it makes mention that it's unclear if Charles Lee Ray was killed by the gunshot wounds or the lightning bolt. In a way he didn't die, if his soul transfered to the doll, as his original body would just remain lifeless. Not to mention even if dying was even possible in this scenerio, the lightning bolt didn't cause any burn or scaring on either Ray or the doll. They appeared as if nothing had happened, muchless a lightning strike.

Body without soul is not life. So he never died. Seph Belmont 04:44, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Charles' Race

In the box to the right, it has Chucky's picture, but Charles' info (Born 1950, Dead 1988). But then it says Charles' is caucasian, which isn't true; Brad Dourif is austrian. Chucky technically doesn't have a race, as he's a doll. Seph Belmont 05:02, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

What Brad Dourif is and what Charles Lee Ray is are not the same thing. Actors generally play people of different backgrounds. Secondly, the doll would still be caucasian, because it's modeled after a caucasian. Bignole 11:11, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

I thought Caucasian was just a posh way of saying "white"?
