Churchfield Road, Acton, lies parallel to Acton High Street. A Station, Acton Central railway station, lies at the bottom of it, while a large Morrison's supermarket is at the top. The original Waitrose store is also situated half-way up, but is now a junk shop.

This area of West London is popular as a location, being close to the BBC and other studios.

Several Monty Python sketches were filmed on it.

In the later years of Minder, the used car lot was on Churchfield Road (it is now built over) and the entrance to the Winchester Club was in Newburgh Road, just off Churchfield Road.
