The Church of St Ioan the Baptist in Nessebar, Bulgaria is a criciform church with three altar niches. It is 12 m long and 10 wide. The construction of the church consists of two cylindrical vaults which intersect in the centre of the composition. The masonry is crushed stone and pebbles and the facades were probably smoothly plastered. It is built in the 10th century.
