The Chupacabra Policia is a theme camp and social group which has appeared at Burning Man and smaller burn events such as Burning Flipside, Transformus, and Myschievia. Their name derives from the chupacabra, a mythical "goat-sucking" creature, and policia, the Spanish word for police (referring to the paramilitary or law enforcement costumes they wear). However, they should not be confused with organizations like the Black Rock Rangers, as membership confers no special authority outside of the group.

The organization's stated goals include "harassing hippies, audio terrorism, and keeping goats safe from suckers." Many of their activities, such as the "Jim Jones Power Hour" in which they gave out vodka-laced Kool-Aid while broadcasting Jim Jones recordings at high volume, have become notorious amongst the Burning Flipside community. (The Power Hour theme has been used more recently at Burning Flipside 2006, where they held the "Kim Jong Il Power Hour") Indeed, the group has been the center of some controversy at Flipside (where they arguably have their largest presence) because their behavior often stands at stark contrast to the loving, laid-back atmosphere of a typical Burner event. To be certain, the policy of the CP has been to aggravate and influence participants with music and noise. They had a huge success at Burning Flipside 2006 with their, "Piss-You-Off-Kiosk," at which participants could choose the noise or music of their choice and play it at a volume of their choosing. As long as they chose cheesy or annoying noise and music, and as long as they chose to play it very loud.
