Chunky Move

Chunky Move is a contemporary dance company based in Southbank, Victoria founded in 1995 when it debuted at the Melbourne International Arts Festival by Artistic Director Gideon Obarzanek.

The Company’s work is diverse and has included stage, new-media and installation works.

• Wanted: ballet for a contemporary democracy

• Tense Dave
• Arcade

Chunky Move has toured extensively including the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, France, Germany, Hungary, United Kingdom, Colombia, Japan, Belgium, Canada and Russia.
