Chuck Traynor

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Charles E. "Chuck" Traynor (born August 21, 1937; died July 22, 2002) was an American pornographer. His cousin, Jay Traynor, was the original Jay of Jay and the Americans.

Traynor was the production manager on the film Deep Throat. He also tried acting in the film, but was not able to sustain a long enough erection.

Chuck Traynor was accused by his wife and star of the movie, Linda Lovelace, of forcing her into pornography and prostitution. They divorced in 1974 after three years of marriage.

In 1975 he married the porn star Marilyn Chambers, the so-called "Ivory Soap Girl". They divorced in 1985 when Chambers got fed up with Traynor's physical and psychological abuse.

He died of a heart attack in Chatsworth, California on July 22, 2002. Linda's sister later said it was disappointing that he died before she could kill him.[1]
