Chuck Ruff

Charles F.C. (Chuck) Ruff (died November 19, 2000) was a lawyer in the District of Columbia who is most notable for being counsel to US President Bill Clinton. Ruff graduated in 1963 from Columbia Law School, and when he died at 61 was a partner at the law firm of Covington & Burling.
During his career he worked in the United States Department of Justice, the Watergate special prosecutors office, was the district attorney for the District of Columbia, and was legal counsel to Bill Clinton.
