I am Christopher Erbach, an 18-year-old Honors Computer Science major entering the University of Waterloo's Faculty of Mathematics as a Computer Science major this fall. I am a 2004 graduate of Fort Wayne's Northrop High School. I also attended Bloomington High School North, but only for a semester Junior year (11th grade). I grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba attending Victor H.L. Wyatt School but moved to Fort Wayne and entered Northwood Middle School in 8th grade.
As a CS major, naturally, I enjoy working with computers. I am a fan of IPv6, networking, and general innovation. I own and use Mac OS X, Linux, and FreeBSD computers.
Academically, I especially enjoy studying foreign languages and mathematics. I spend my free time singing, doing DDR, watching anime (my favorite movie is Princess Mononoke), enjoying Japanese culture, listening to music, talking to friends, designing electronics for fun, writing wikipedia articles, and currently, attending high school graduation parties. I used to copy-edit a friend's romance novels: the result is, according to one online test, I'm a "Grammar God" and if "it's not my mission in life already to preserve the English tongue, it should be."
