Is Latin America not partially part of North America? -- Zoe
- As I understand it, North America is Panama and everything north of it; South America starts at Columbia. Latin America is those American countries with Spanish or Portugese backgrounds; Mexico, definitiely part of North America, is Latin American; but some South American countries are arguably not Latin American, e.g. Suriname, which is of Dutch and African background. -- An.
You are quite right. But to make Latin America and North America to be different things is not right. Part of Latin America is in North America. -- Zoe
I wonder whether Kevin McFadden is in any way related to Gates McFadden (who played Beverly Crusher in Star Trek: The Next Generation)? Seems like a bit of a coincidence, with his pen name being Christopher Pike — Danc 10:29, 24 Jun 2004 (UTC)

im doing an author study project on christopher pike. and i was wondering if u could please give me some information on him and his background, such where he went to college and when he dropped out, and what influenced him to become a writer.
