I am tempted to bring this to WP:AfD as it is simply not notable enough. Are we to list every murdered/manslaughtered individual? I my view it does not met Wikipedia:Notability (people), also see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, number 4 (wikipedia is not a memorial to the dead). However, I am not going to nominate this article for deletion (too lazy, and there are better things to do). However, if anyone else does nominate it let me know, and I will vote to delete. --Midnighttonight please tell me off for procrastinating on my essay! 04:05, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- I was sort of waiting for someone to question the notability. I agree it is a borderline case, though wouldn't say I created this as a memorial, more an article about an unusual death. It also seems notable in that the police prosecuted for murder. You may also want to check out Chris and Cru Kahui which I recently created. Evil Monkey - Hello 04:26, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- I would also add the Chris and Cru Kahui article to being non-notable. Although an article on Murders in New Zealand could be an place for the info from both. I think individually there is not a case for them, but as one article (with info on murder stats etc), the subject would be notable. --Midnighttonight please tell me off for procrastinating on my essay! 05:47, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
