[edit] Summary

Photo of King Christian IX of Denmark (King 1863-1906).

Source: [1]

Given the signature, this image seems to have been taken by the official photographer to the court; Lars Peter Elfelt (1866 -1931). [2] It is also a possibility that it was among the images aquired by Elfelt taken by either his predecessor Jens Petersen (1829 - 1905) [3] or Clemens Weller (1838 - 1900). [4] In all three cases, this means that this work is in the public domain since the author died more than 70 years ago. Valentinian (talk) 12:15, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
