Chrysallidinae is one of eleven currently recognised subfamilies of the gastropod family Pyramidellidae; Odostomiinae, Turbonillinae, Chrysallidinae, Cingulininae, Cyclostremellinae, Sayellinae, Syrnolininae, Eulimellinae, Pyramidellinae, Odostomellinae and Tiberiinae. Chrysallidinae was introduced by Saurin in 1958 and comprises several genera including Babella, Boonea, Chrysallida, Egilina, Parthenina and Spiralinella.
