Chronicles of the Canongate

Chronicles of the Canongate was a series of books by Sir Walter Scott, published in the late 1820s. They are named after the Canongate, in Edinburgh.
There were two series -
- 1st series, The Highland Widow, The Two Drovers and The Surgeon's Daughter (1827) (Short stories)
- 2nd series, The Fair Maid of Perth (1828) (novel)
