Chrome Mozilla

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mozilla applications like Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird use interface written in XUL and JavaScript. The Gecko engine which renders the web pages also renders the user interface. This means you can enter chrome URLs into the Firefox address bar and render inside the browser. The examples below have been tested with Firefox 2.0 on Windows.

Display the browser inside the browser

chrome://browser/content/browser.xul

Display bookmarks

chrome://browser/content/bookmarks/bookmarksPanel.xul

Display Javascript console

chrome://global/content/console.xul
