Chrome Hill is a limestone knoll (possibly a reef knoll) on the Derbyshire side of the upper Dove valley. It is adjacent to the more distinctive but lower Parkhouse Hill.
For many years there was no access to either hill, but a concessionary path was eventually agreed for Chrome. Under the provisions of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000, there is now unrestricted access to both hills.
