Christopher Hudgens

Christopher Hudgens (born December 13, 1977 in Houston, Texas) is a contemporary U.S. artist.


[edit] Early life

Christopher grew up in Bacliff, Texas, during the 1980's. Bacliff was originally a wealthy vacation spot in the early 1900's that has passed on and over time became extreemly poor & at-risk. The city of Bacliff and county of Galveston as a whole was largely a Oil & Gas port town that became residential holdings for larger nearby cities like Texas City, Texas that housed oil refineries such as British Petroleum & Texaco.

Christopher studied at the University of Southern Illinois from 1999 to 2001, graduating with a BFA in Painting. He then moved to Chicago and began showing paintings & intaglio prints in varrious parts of the city over the next 5 years.

While in Chicago, Christopher met Richard Holland & Duncan MacKenzie who founded the Chicago Art Podcast Bad at Sports. Working together with Amanda Browder they continue to make the top Chicago audio review program. In 2006 Christopher was reported to have moved to Detriot but still works with the Chicago Art scene.
