Christopher Connelly (born September 8, 1941, Wichita, Kansas; died December 7, 1988, Burbank, California) was an American actor best known for his role as Norman Harrington in the primetime soap opera Peyton Place. He stayed with the series during its entire five-year run (1964-1969).
Connelly's other series venture was not as successful. In 1974 he starred in the series Paper Moon, with a young Jodie Foster playing his daughter. The series was based on the film of the same name but was cancelled after only a few months. The film version had starred Connelly's former Peyton Place costar Ryan O'Neal and his daughter Tatum O'Neal.
In the 1980s Connelly made numerous appearances in Italian B-movies such as Ruggero Deodato's Atlantis Interceptors and Bruno Mattei's Strike Commando. He also made guest appearances on dozens of television series before his death in 1988. He was a smoker who died from lung cancer.
